Reading your comment, I’m not sure whether you might be a sick and twisted individual and actually love the Top Gun soundtrack and you love even more the Rhinestone soundtrack or you are being ironic. It’s hard to get tone of voice in writing sometimes.

I think the TG soundtrack is only bested by the dreadful synth-rock soundtrack that accompanied Stallone’s films in the 80′s.

Back to the Future is far better than Top Gun (but not as good as the Karate Kid) – the song in that film is Johnnie B Goode.

I would also choose the West Wing.
